Ingredients of Spanish rice Recipe


  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin.
  • 2 cups of white rice.
  • 3 ½ cups of water.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes.
  • 1 small onion diced.
  • 2 ½ tablespoon of chili powder.
  • 3 bouillon cubes.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.

Instruction


Step 1


Take a rice cooker. Place the rice in the bottom of the rice cooker then add the diced tomatoes and water. Add the onion and spices, stir and mix to dissolve the spices in the water.

Step 2


Cook the recipe according to the instruction.

Step 3


Then check that the rice is cooked, check that the amount of salt is right and add more salt if necessary.

Step 4


Now you serve inside your favorite burritos and tacos as a side dish.

What you’ll need


  • ½ cup of soya sauce.
  • 6 gloves of broken down garlic.
  • 4 fresh ginger root, coarsely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 4 boneless chicken thigh
  • 1 ½ teaspoon of cornstarch
  • Take 1 cup of water as per your need.
  • You will need a programmable electric rice cooker.
  • A large recyclable plastic bag will be required.  

Instruction


Step 1


Put the ingredients like soy, garlic, ginger, monosodium glutamate, salt, pepper and sesame oil in a large recyclable plastic bags and now mix the bag by squeezing the plastic bag with your fingers to mix the ingredients and dissolve the salt. Add the chicken thigh to the marinade and squeeze the bag again. You should completely remove the air from the plastic bag and close or zip the bag. Then you leave the bag in the freezer for 1 hr.

Step 2


Combine the cornstarch and 2 tablespoon water in a small bowl. Remove the marinade from the plastic bag, pour into the rice cooker and mix well into the cornstarch mixture. Add the chicken thigh to the sauce. Now add enough water to cover the chicken and stir.

Step 3


Close the cooker lid, set the rice setting and press the start button. Set the cooker time for 10 minutes when you see that steam starts rice from the top of the cooker, when the cooker timer goes off open the chicken and stir. Then set the timer again and cook for another 10 minutes. This should take about 20 minutes. After cooking heat the chicken for 20 minutes before serving.
